Dye M2 Paintball Marker Top 3 Global Finalist
Client Need:
Dye Paintball, a well-known paintball company, released their newly designed paintball Marker, the M2, in late 2016. In celebration of their recognition from fans for the new marker, Dye Paintball hosted a global paintball marker design contest for the M2. The winner of the contest would have their design placed onto the M2 Paintball Marker. The contest winner was voted on by paintball fans through Dye Paintball’s website. The top 3 Designs in the world would move on to the final round to decide the winner.
Design Solution:
My design idea was to generate a rising sun concept on the paintball marker that was unique and visually appealing while placing Dye’s logo within the design. I made the Dye logo appear to be the rising sun in the design in order to achieve my unique concept for the M2 marker.
Outcome:
Achieved Top 3 selection of Dye Marker designs in the world out of dozens of designs submitted to the worldwide contest.
